Susie Noland

Mrs. Noland teaches 4th grade at  Hawthorne  Elementary School   .  She began her teaching career in the arctic region of Alaska in 1993.  She moved to Idaho in 1997 and has been teaching in Boise Public Schools since 1998. She received her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications from CSU, Sacramento in 1989.  She earned her teaching certificate at the University of Alaska, Southeast in 1993.  Her master’s degree in Educational Administration was earned through the  University  of  Idaho  in 1991.  She has taught many different grade levels.

Mrs. Noland is married and has one son who is a junior at the University of Idaho.  She enjoys spending time with her family camping, kayaking, fishing and travelling.  She also enjoys cooking, painting, reading, antiquing, going to thrift stores, and writing for pleasure.  

Mission Statement:  I support children to become confident and capable members of society in a caring and safe environment.  I want to show all boys and girls that they can be anything they want to be, if they put in the effort and have the mindset to achieve.
